The Birmingham office filled 30 baskets with food and raised money to support the families assisted by Development Centers.
The Birmingham office came together on November 10 and painted together to support the Salvation Army. It was great spending time with co-workers while raising money for needy families in our community.
This year the Birmingham office chose the Development Center as our holiday charity. Our goal was to fill 15 baskets with non-perishable food and have a Ham or Turkey for each basket to go to families in need during the holiday season. I filled a basket and purchased a ham and together we beat our goal by having 29 filled baskets with a ham or turkey.
Several people in our office participating in a painting event with a portion of the proceeds to benefit the Salvation Army! On top of that, it was a “jeans day” and we collected an additional $45, with a total of $145 raised for the Salvation Army! So much fun and for such a wonderful cause at a very needed time of year!
