  • ABA Client Counseling Competition

    On February 12, 2016, I judged the ABA Client Counseling Regional Competition at Western Michigan Thomas Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. Teams competed from the states of Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia and were judged by a three-member judging panel comprised of local attorneys, professors, and counselors.

     

  • Food boxes for troops oversea

    This was a project our GR office did by collecting food items for a good cause. On Dec. 4 we all got together to pack them in boxes to send to our troops over seas. We hope it will give them a little cheer around Christmas!

  • Grand Rapids Office Featured on WZZM’s Noon News

    Ingrid Jensen and Traci Joseph were featured on WZZM’s Noon News discussing Clark Hill’s Thrive125 initiative and the mission completed by many in the firm’s Grand Rapids office. They made fleece blankets and donated them to the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans. Click HERE to view the video.

    Women Lawyers faced the Judges in a softball game at Comerica Park.  All proceeds and contributions were donated to the local YWCA.

  • Using good fall weather to improve our natural community

    Taking a break from firm obligations, I worked with a team of Grand Rapids residents helping to protect native vegetation in a nature preserve imperiled by invasive species .  We chopped out lots of nasty plants.   This work is directed by the Land Conservancy of West Michigan, which holds as its motto “Nature Nearby”.  It was great fun to work with a great team of volunteers.
