    I spent a few hours in July helping to rebuild and improve a section of the North Country Trail north of Grand Rapids. I had a great time working with a team of volunteers from West Michigan.  Everyone should get out and hike a portion of the North Country Trail.

    On Friday, July 24, 2015, a group of the Grand Rapids staff came together to make fleece lap blankets for the Grand Rapids’ Home for Veterans.  We had a great time and got a lot accomplished in our 2 hours!  Our final count will be 14 blankets that will be given to the home.

    We all had so much fun doing this project in the GR office today.  I think we got 10 done by tag teaming up on both sides of the table!  It was a great afternoon, and I’m sure the veterans will get a lot of warm and cozy comfort from these.  Marcia Marshall

  • Warm and Cuddly

    Our group in the Grand Rapids office got together and made some nice warn fleece blankets for Our Veterans here.  Altogether we made 13 of them.  I am proud to be a part of this group.

    I made 25 baby hats for preemies, newborns and all infants at Mercy Health Hospital, Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Hoping the families that receive them are blessed.
