Beth Duchon and Kim Hicks were given tasks by Satchels of Caring to make literature packets for male cancer patients, which we finished in record time. The picture you see here is Beth and I working on QC’ing (quality controlling) satchel kits for our volunteers to begin sewing. As you can see, Beth looks like she’s been doing this for quite a while. I thought I was a perfectionist, I’ve met my match with Beth, but it’s all good because we had a great time and she’s a welcomed additional to the SOC volunteers. Beth caught on so quickly, she took home 10 satchel kits to begin sewing. I can’t wait to see the finished products. Thanks Beth for tagging along with me. I can’t wait for next month!
